Butch was the first person I met when I began working at James Madison. He made me feel welcome and would do anything I needed done in my classroom. I will treasure the memories I have of those Wednesday Happy Hours we would all share at Big Muddies. He always made me smile. My thoughts are with the family he loved so much.
I have known Butch most of my life he was friends with my brothers as I was growing up. And then I met him and Lorie at GWRR. ( Gold wing road riders ) he was in charge of the gold wings many years he always made it fun for everyone always had a joke. And made everyone He is definitely going to be missed. Until Lorie you are such a brave strong person but I know you Took care of him because you loved him. And he loved you. God bless you. 😢
I will never forget when my daughter was younger and I would see Butch and Lorie at Walmart Butch was always threatening to steal my daughter and take her to the toy section and let her pick out any toy she wanted or he would stand and talk to me about life in general. He always seemed to care how me and my family was doing. I will miss him dearly. He had a heart of gold. R.I.P. Butch
