I only had a few years with George in my life but they were good ones. I truly loved visiting him in Burlington and talking about so many things. I'll treasure the times we spent looking through Mary's wonderful photo albums, so painstakingly put together, and having him tell me about the trips he and Mary took. He often had me laughing when I'd ask who someone in a picture was by saying "I don't know, just someone in the group that day!" Rest In Peace, George. I hope I'm wrong and that there is a heaven and you are finally with Mary, the only place you wanted to be. I read something you wrote today about not being afraid to die, but being terrified of the deterioration, pain and suffering that often comes at the end of life. That's over now, my friend, nothing and no one can hurt you anymore.
George, May you RIP. Tom and I always enjoyed being with you ~during the "Nira days". (Mary~ allowing you to have a "quart" :)) Wonderful memories, there. Always enjoyed our "visits" at our church. Loved hearing about the "cruises" ~You and Mary took. Tom and I enjoyed our visits with you at the Blaire House, after church. WE know ~You and Mary are SMILING and LOVING being back "TOGETHER"... God Bless~ Love and Aloha, Tom and Geri
