Ms. Adona Anne Ralston, 34, of Burlington died at 7:27 a.m. April 21, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Born March 27, 1978 in Iowa City, she was the daughter of Edwin Jr. and Nanette Ralston Verrips. Gary Hoeppner was her Daddy.
Ms. Ralston received her diploma in computer technology from CISCO. She was a homemaker and believer in many gods. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, book writing, camping, water skiing and boating. She also enjoyed family, children and everyone she met. She loved life.
Survivors include one daughter, Raven Storm Ralston; one son, Gavin Hawk Ralston-Carlson; her mother, Nanette Verrips of Burlington; two sisters, Jessica (Tracy) Williams and Megan (Aloshis Jefferson) Verrips both of Burlington; two brothers, Jason (Stephanie) Dykes and Dustin Dykes both of Burlington; maternal grandmother, Rita Ralston; paternal grandmother, Myrtle Dykes; aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Ralston Jr. and great grandmother, Eunice Davison.
The funeral service for Ms. Ralston will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 26th, in Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Brenda M. Pulley, D.D. will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
