Shirley Lou Curley, 84, of Burlington, died 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 07, 2012 at the Prairie Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mediapolis surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 14, 1927 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Deverre L. and Anna Louise (Stoermer) Eastburn. She married James Louis Curley on August 18, 1948 in Burlington. He died July 28, 1997.

Mrs. Curley was a homemaker. She previously worked for I.A.A.P. She was a lifelong Burlington area resident. She was a member of Hend Co Hills Golf Club. She loved golfing with her husband and attending the Masters, wintering in Biloxi, MS and their time spent in Barbados.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter Barbara Drew and her husband Robert of Burlington, grandchildren Gina Drew of Portland, OR, Ryan Drew and his wife Amy of Burlington; great-grandchildren Madison, Jackson and Isabella Drew all of Burlington; son Steven Curley of Burlington; daughter Janice Curley-McCoy of Burlington; grandchildren, Richard Curley and his wife Sami, Brent McCoy, Jessica Haley and Cody McCoy all of Burlington; great-grandchildren, Connor, Cohen and Charli Curley and Breana McCoy all of Burlington; daughter Mary Daedlow and her husband Dennis of Burlington; grandchildren, Marianne Briggs and her husband Mike of Burlington; great-grandchildren, Matthew James Briggs and Lauren Aubrey Briggs both of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister Donna.

Friends may call from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 9th in Lunning Chapel. The graveside funeral service and interment for Mrs. Curley will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10th in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Langer will officiate.
