JoEllen and family, I am so sorry for all of your loss. I knew Steve through my work at the Court House. Plus we stored records in his office. He was always a pleasant man. And always ready to show pictures of the grand children.

Dear JoEllen, I was saddened to hear of his passing. My prayer is that you and family know that you are loved.

Rev. Bobbie Chapman on May 19, 2017

JoEllen and family, I was sorry to hear of Steve' death. He was a wonderful gentleman, churchman, lawyer and Congregationalist. He was so proud of and loved all of you. We last talked a short time ago and while I knew he was struggling, his focus was on the future for his family and the Congregational Way. I will miss the conversations with my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Steve was a great influence in my life. I will always be grateful for the start he gave me in my practice of law and for the friendship we had. He was an excellent mentor. My condolences to the family.
