Ruby Rebecca Norton, 75, of Burlington, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2007 in her home.

            Born February 5, 1932 in McIntire, Iowa, she was the daughter of Ora I. and Myrtle Eldora  Brockett.  On September 4, 1953 she married Clarence I. Norton in Oquawka, Illinois.

            She was a graduate of American High School, in Chicago, Illinois.

            She worked at IRC in the Ultra Clean Room.  She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and served as a Senior Saint.  She was a Pen Pal and was also a member of the 32 Club.

            Survivors include her husband Clarence; two sons, Ken Norton of New London, and Roy Norton of Burlington; four grandchildren, Tina, Tim, Tom, and Chad; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glenn Moyers of Oquawka, Illinois, Martin Brockett of Joplin, Missouri, and Bill Moyers of Tennessee; three sisters, Mary Moyers of West Burlington, Cathy Waterman of Burlington, and Ethyl Huss of Lomax, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews.        

            Her parents, one daughter Sandra Norton, and four brothers Bob, Chuck, Harry, and Hap preceded her in death.
