Mildred Lucille Logan, 80, of
Stronghurst, Illinois and formerly of
Burlington, Iowa and Albuquerque, New Mexico
died at 12:12 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2007,
at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst,
Illinois.
Born May 19, 1927 in St. Louis,
Missouri, she was the daughter of Carl and Inez
Horn Schmidt. On April 19, 1947 she married
Joseph Logan in Burlington. He preceded her in
death on January 30, 1987.
Mrs. Logan was a 1945 graduate of
Burlington High School and attended the
University if Albuquerque. She was an
accountant for the University of New Mexico for
over 14 years, retiring in 1989. Mrs. Logan was
of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include one son, Gary
Logan of Gladstone, Illinois, two daughters, Glo Logan West of
Jelm, Wyoming and Gwendy Logan of Burlington;
eight grandchildren; and seven great
grandchildren.
Her husband, daughter Gay Logan,
grandson Kelly Logan, parents, and her twin
brother who was stillborn preceded her in death.
