Patricia “Pat” Anne Champagne, 83, of Burlington, died at 9:50 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.

            Born July 27, 1924 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Eugene and Fern Bettinger Champagne.

            Miss Champagne was a graduate of Burlington High School and Simpson College with a degree in music.  She worked at IRC/TRW for several years.

            Miss Champagne was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she was also the church choir director.  She enjoyed music.

            Survivors include two sisters-in-law; Marilyn Champagne and Murial Champagne both of Burlington; several nieces and nephews.

            Her parents, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
