Daniel Timothy Campbell, age 13, of rural
Mediapolis, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at Great
River Medical Center.
Born July 28, 1992 in Burlington, he was the
son of Timothy Ronald and Susan Rosetta Beckman
Campbell.
Daniel attended Mediapolis Community Schools
where he was currently in the 8th
grade and a member of the Jr. High Chorus. He
was a member of the Kingston United Methodist
Church and MCYG, the Mediapolis Junior Farmers
4-H Club, the Iowa Junior Simmental Association,
Iowa Junior Beef Breeders, he enjoyed showing
cattle, hunting and fishing, and playing
videogames. He was a NASCAR fan, especially
Tony Stewart he also enjoyed the races at 34
Raceway where he watched his favorite sprint car
driver, Bobby Mincer. He was a Green Bay
Packers fan, enjoyed riding four wheelers and
loved spending time with his cousins and
friends.
Survivors included his parents, Timothy and
Susan Campbell of rural Mediapolis; brother,
Travis William Campbell of rural Mediapolis;
maternal grandparents, Robert W. and Marlene
Beckman of Mediapolis; paternal grandparents,
Ronald W. and Wanda Campbell of Burlington; many
cousins, aunts and uncles.
His great grandparents preceded him in death.
A memorial has been established.
