Paul Richard
Boline, 77, of West Burlington died shortly
after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2006, at
Burlington Care Center in Burlington.
Born June 30, 1929, in Pleasant
Grove, he was the son of Alfred and Vesta Hummer
Boline.
Mr. Boline
retired after 20 years service in the United
States Army in 1967. After returning to West
Burlington with his wife Hazel, he worked at
Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, was a truck driver
for Chittenden and Eastman and a bus driver for
Continental Trailways and for the Burlington
Bees. He was also co-owner of the B&D Lounge in
West Burlington and in more recent years worked
for the Catfish Bend Casino as a courtesy
driver.
He was a member of Moose Lodge
#579, Burlington Aerie #150 Fraternal Order of
Eagles, and AMVETS.
Survivors include three children,
Terry Boline of Burlington, Guy Boline of San
Antonio, Texas and Vanessa Paradeis of Weaver,
Alabama; grandchildren; great grandchildren; two
sisters, Viola Johnson of West Burlington and
Vera Stanturf of Sperry; two nephews, Larry
Johnson of West Burlington and Donald Johnson of
Burlington; two nieces, Linda Johnson and Mary
Ann Brown both of West Burlington and their
families.
His wife and parents preceded him
in death.
