Leora “Lee” Blint, 81, of Burlington died at 6:20 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2008 at Great River Medical Center. 

            Born March 23, 1926 in Fort Madison, she was the daughter of Leo and Marie Martin Hundt.  On June 28, 1947 she married Donald Blint in Fort Madison.  He preceded her in death on July 29, 2000.

            Mrs. Blint graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School.  She was a homemaker and also worked at Sylvania Electronics as an inspector and I.R.C.  She retired in 1989. 

Mrs. Blint was a member of SS Mary and Patrick Catholic Church and the Ladies of the Moose.  She also collected dolls and enjoyed cooking.

            Survivors include one daughter, Patricia (Jack) Coleman of Wapello; two sons, Gregg Blint of Los Angeles, California and Donnie L. (Patti Jo) Blint of rural Burlington; five grandchildren, Lori Hoffman, Jason Swafford, Jeremy Swafford, Julie McCulloch and Jamie Holmes; nine great grandchildren, Brandon, Alyssa, Colton, Makenna, Elizabeth, Dustin, Dawson, Macuen, and Josalynn; one great-great grandchild, Reagan; one sister, Mary Ann Bixenman of Texas; and several nieces and nephews

            Her husband, parents and one brother Jack Hundt preceded her in death.
