     -Christian Wake Service: Wednesday, September 26th at 6:00 PM in Lunning Chapel
     -Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, September 27th at 10:30 AM in St. Paul Catholic
        Church
        The Reverend Father Patrick J. Hilgendorf will be the Celebrant 
        Luncheon to be held following services in St. John Catholic Church Hall.
      -Interment: Thursday, September 27th at 2:00 PM in Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington,
        Iowa.
        A memorial has been established for SS John and Paul Catholic Church.
  

             Alice Billerbeck, 82 of Burlington, Iowa died Sunday, September 23, 2007, at Heritage Nursing Home in Cedar Rapids.

            Born May 6, 1925 in Certerville, Iowa, she was the daughter of Wilbert and Caroline Stevens Wolary.  She married James Billerbeck in Centerville.  They later divorced.

            Mrs. Billerbeck was a graduate of Marycrest College and was a teacher at James Madison Jr. High School retiring in 1988.

            She was a member of SS John and Paul Catholic Church, Retired Teachers Association and the Ladies Group at SS John and Paul Catholic Church.

            Survivors include her son, William “Len” (Janet) Billerbeck of Cedar Rapids; sister, Mildred Etock of Boone, Iowa and special niece, Carlette Ketelson of Davenport, Iowa and several other nieces and nephews.

            Her parents, sisters Esther and Blanche, and brother Paul preceded her in death.
