Mrs. Erma Marie Andrew, 92, of Burlington died at 10:12 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Great River Medical Center.

            Born April 7, 1916 in Tingley, she was the daughter of Charles and Dorathy Wolfe McDowell Pietzsch.  On June 12, 1937 she married Richard G. Andrew in Burlington.  He preceded her in death on March 31, 2001.

            Mrs. Andrew was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

            Survivors include one son, Eugene (Loretta) Andrew of Burlington; three grandchildren, Nancy (Eric) Lowe of Burlington, Scott Palmer of Toledo, Washington and Angela (David) Strong of Little York, Illinois; six great grandchildren, Star Palmer of Burlington, Valerie (Nick) Hanger of Ames, Jamie French and Synthia Palmer both of Toledo, Washington, Heather Lowe of Burlington and Jaclyn Strong of Little York, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

            Her husband, one daughter, parents, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
