This excellent grief support class is a nine
session program that over 800 people have attended in the past fifteen
years. The program is designed to help survivors recognize and accept
the reality of death, share their feelings, learn coping behaviors and
diminish their grief. The program
is sponsored by Great River Medical Center aned led by Hospital
Chaplains.
The group approach helps you feel less alone
and less “crazy” with your feelings. You will be traveling that road of
grief with others who understand some of your feelings, who will listen
and who will care. All sessions are confidential.
There is no fee for “Grieving...the Journey to
Healing” and is available to anyone. Pre-registration is required. To
register or obtain further information, call the Spiritual Care
Department at 319-768-4060. |
