Katherine Brumwell

Katherine Brumwell is a Licensed Funeral Director and manages Elliott Chapel in New London, and helps out in Burlington when needed.  She has been with Elliott Chapel since 1994 and was instrumental in the move to the new facility on X23 in 1996.  She is the daughter of Larry and Marlene Reid, wife of Wayne Brumwell and mother of Crenna Brumwell Sahm, Cullen Brumwell and Corbin Brumwell.  Katherine graduated from New London High School, Kirkwood Community College, Southeastern Community College and Worsham College of Mortuary Science.  She has also attended classes at the University of Iowa.   She is very active in the community,  being President of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Board, Mt. Pleasant, Treasurer of the New London Chamber of Commerce,  a member of the Lion's Club, Medius Club, Order of Eastern Star, and finance chairperson of the United Methodist Church in New London are just a few of the things that keep her busy.  She enjoys working in her yard, antiquing, decorating, cooking and baking.
