Dick Gygi

Dick Gygi is a Licensed Funeral Director and retired in July 2000, but continues to help us when needed and we still consider Dick part of our staff family.  He has been with Lunning Chapel since 1985.  He graduated from high school in Mihawaka, IN, Purdue University in 1961 with a BS degree, Western State College in LA in 1964 with Masters Degree and KCKCC Mortuary Science program in 1982.  He is an Iowa Licensed Funeral Director.  Dick was a college professor before entering Mortuary Science.  Dicks serves on the boards of Civic Music and Carl Sandburg College Mortuary Science Program in Galesburg, IL.  He enjoys gardening, music, Players Workshop and traveling.  He also plays the Bag Pipes   Dick is married to Sharon and they have two children, Phillip and Peter.
