Chip Readinger

Brian K. "Chip" Readinger is a 1978 graduate of New London High School, graduated from Southeastern Community College in 1980 and Southern Illinois University in 1983 with a Associate Degree in Mortuary Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree.  He is the son of Dr. Harry M. and the late Marian Readinger of New London, IA.  Chip joined Lunning Chapel in 1983, has been a Licensed Funeral Director since 1984 and purchased half of the business in 1984.  In October of 2007 Chip became the sole owner of Lunning Chapel. He is also a licensed funeral director in the state of Illinois.  He is a member of First United Methodist Church, Burlington Kiwanis Club, serves on the board of Greater Burlington Partnership, co-chairman of Burlington/West Burlington Area Crop Walk and past district governor for the Iowa Funeral Directors Association. Chip is married to Dana (Marshall) and they have one son Ryan who graduated Burlington High School and attends The University of Iowa.
